Our mission is to integrate high-quality scholarship from and about these regions into the global scientific discourse, removing financial barriers to knowledge production.

Conventional publishing models often restrict the dissemination of research through high costs. Driven by the ideal that exceptional scholarship deserves to be published regardless of financial backing, Galda Verlag operates on a strict zero-fee model:

Our publication profile encompasses monographs, edited volumes, and academic journals within African Studies and Asian Studies, spanning the humanities, social sciences, law, and linguistics. We collaborate with researchers globally, with a strong emphasis on supporting scholars working directly within the regions under study. We publish manuscripts primarily in English, French, and German, and occasionally in other languages.
