The implementation of the Mother Tongue Based-Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) provides a new strategic direction to enrich the Ilocano language with the national perspectives of the Filipino culture. The dilemma of the social science researchers is to conduct extensive research in the identification of relevant topics in Mother Language Education for the K-12 program in the elementary education. It is expected in this book to provide strategic technique or approach to conduct an exploratory research on Ilocano culture. It also provides topics extensive information in the enrichment of research topic in Ilocano culture and heritage through the descriptive analysis, phenomenological study, social researches, qualitative and quantitative researches.
